LEON ANDERSON ART

South Queensferry based Oil Painter, Leon Anderson merges his love of dogs, wildlife with 17th - 19th Century portraiture to re-invision each character.  Each painting gives a sense of the animal's personality, bond with their owner or background, with a touch of humour.

 

Leon, a self-taught artist started with commission work in 2016.  From there he has created a body of work which has featured in a range of galleries in Edinburgh.  Leon has exhibited his work with great success in the Edinburgh Art Fair, The Kimpton Hotel and 24 Royal Terrace.
